Robert Rickover has
been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1981. He graduated
from the School of Alexander Studies in London, England where
he also served on the faculty. He is a teaching member of STAT*,
ATI*, and AmSAT*. He studied for more than fifteen years with
master Alexander teacher Marjorie Barstow and frequently assisted
her in teaching her Alexander Technique workshops. He has taught
workshops in the Technique in a wide variety of settings throughout
the US and Canada. He is the author of Fitness Without Stress
- A Guide to the Alexander Technique. He holds degrees in
physics and economics from Yale University and the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology. |

| Kathleen Juhl
has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1995 and
is certified by ATI*. She is an Associate Professor of
Theatre in the School of Fine Arts at Southwestern University
where she regularly teaches an Alexander Technique class.
She works primarily with actors, vocalists, instrumentalists,
and conductors. Her class has included athletes, dancers,
people who have pain or difficulty in everyday activities,
and people with disabilities. She also teaches Continuing
Education classes for body workers and community classes
at other venues including various universities. She has
an MFA in Acting and Directing and a Ph.D. in Performance
Studies, is a massage therapist, and practices craniosacral
therapy. |

John A. Macy, P. T.
has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1983 and is
a co-founder of ATI*. A 1984 graduate of the University of Wisconsin,
he has integrated the Technique into his physical therapy practice,
assisting clients who have had strokes and other neurological
problems, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, and rehabilitation
from multiple trauma. He has also taught numerous workshops
for artists, therapists, performers and the general public.
His physical therapy practice specializes in soft tissue and
movement problems, utilizing Muscle Energy, Stott Pilates, Myofascial
Release, and individualized exercise programs for clients. He
established the Back to Golf program in Omaha for golf-specific
training. |

| Alice
R. Pryor is certified by AmSAT* and is a Sponsoring Member
of ATI*. Alice studied with Marjorie Barstow for ten years
and has been teaching both private lessons and workshops
in the Alexander Technique since 1980. She has also been
a faculty member of the Voice Care Network from 1985 -
2002.. She has presented workshops in the Technique for
regional meetings of the National Association of Teachers
of Singing and for colleges, universities and corporations
throughout the United States, Europe and Australia. Her
background includes studies in stress management, meditation,
Feldenkrais, Tai Chi, yoga and dance. She received her
Masters in Art Education from the University of Minnesota
in 1966. She has taught Art Education in Wisconsin, Minnesota,
Texas and Mexico. |

Bill Walsh
has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1988.
He is a graduate of the Alexander School of Philadelphia
and is a sponsoring member of ATI*. He has taught at
the Alexander Technique School in Kyoto, Japan, the
Elderhostel Program, the Open Center, and at corporations
and business conferences. He has worked with singers,
dancers, carpenters, martial artists, and office workers.
Bill teaches Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Resolution
at the Teachers College, Columbia University. He has
also been deeply involved in the study of Tai Chi Chuan
and has been a silver medalist in Traditional Yang Family
Tai Chi competitions in China. His passion is to see
how the Alexander Technique can improve the effectiveness
of both these disciplines.
